Research Experience
Autonomy and Embedded Robotics Accelerated Lab, MIT
Researched principled uncertainty quantification methods for generative models and applied them to vision-language-action (VLA) models and world models.
Designed a robust visual-inertial navigation system and an active perception framework leveraging uncertainty-aware learning-based representations.
Built large-scale urban scene reconstruction pipelines using neural scene representations.
Autonomous Decision and Control Lab, CU Boulder
Collaborated with Prof. Zachary Sunberg on developing decision-making algorithms for task planning under uncertainty.
Laboratory for Information and Control Systems, KAIST
Proposed a 3D dynamic occupancy grid mapping algorithm with LiDAR based on Dempster–Shafer evidential theory.
Developed an optimal trajectory planning algorithm and a safety-guaranteed control method for agile multirotor flight.
Seoul National University
Implemented an autonomous surface cleaning system using a 6-DOF robot manipulator under the supervision of Prof. Sung-hoon Ahn.
